CSSI BackOffice Services

The Process Improvement Team in CSSI’s BackOffice Services department was recently brought in by a firm to document and review their current back office processes.  During the review we found a number of improvements that have allowed the firm to move all of their accounts to daily reconciliation.  This was possible through automation and adding additional sources for transactions and prices.

After the analysis and implementation, the Process Improvement Team did a number of other improvements and completed the project by delivering updated documentation.  Our team then provided training on the new process to the Operations Team and Management so there was a deep understanding of the changes and the reasoning.

Axys SSRS Reports

CSSI’s Consulting team recently created a multiple page SSRS reporting solution for a customer that uses Advent’s Axys product. This customer wanted to enhance their reports look without the increased costs of moving to APX

CSSI developed a process where the reports data is all calculated from the client’s Advent Axys system and all the options are controlled via Axys data.  The running of the process was designed to be able to be done by anyone with access to Axys in a simple 2 step process. The users do not have to “load” the database first and then run the statements, a process that sometimes results in stale data being present.  The process we designed will calculate and use fresh data out of Axys on demand to generate the final PDF statements the user sends to their clients. Multiple users can also generate multiple statements concurrently.   This statement procedure will also work with future versions of Axys with minimal changes.
